Ken Levine’s Next Game Is an Immersive Sim

We’ve known since the beginning of the year that Westwood-based Ghost Story GamesKen Levine’s studio that was formerly known as Irrational Games, has been working on a game it has previously said would appeal to BioShock fans. If that didn’t give away that the game would be in the “immersive sim” genre — which also includes recent games like Prey and Dishonored 2 — then a new job listing all but confirms it. A new listing for a level builder states that the job offers the opportunity to work on a “creatively ambitious project in the immersive sim genre.” The job requires experience in first-person shooters and semi-open or open-world games. Given that the Take-Two Interactive-owned studio only has a core team of under 30, I’m interested to see what kind of game Ghost Story can create.
